Re-roof timber shed.
West Hull Handyman, Simon was asked by a customer in Kirk Ella to replace their shed roof. The old one was leaking badly and had fallen into a serious state of disrepair. To achieve a watertight solution all the old felt and timber battens were removed and replaced with new felt and timbers. The reason the original roof had started to leak was because whoever had fitted it had made the mistake of nailing through battens and through roof felt. Water eventually found a way through over time. The only nails you should put through felt is around the edges.
The result was a perfect roof that didn’t let in a drop of rain.
